Here's an odd thought: Why is it that male facial hair is always groomed symetrically? That is people have moustaches, beards etc. of equal size on each side of their faces. No one would have a moustache that only has hair on one side of their face. Compare this with the hair on the head, which is shaped in all sorts of asymetrical ways, even if its something like a simple part. No one would give a second thought to you having your hair parted on one side, but if you wore a beard on only one side of your face people would think you were some sort of weirdo.
