Gas In Saskatoon, August 26, 2016.
This week saw us go over the one dollar mark. Gas dropped to 98.9 cents a litre over the weekend, only to rebound to 103.9 cents a litre. With a long weekend coming up next week, along with the school year starting, it will be interesting to see if the price goes up again.

A Geography Lesson Shouldn't Be Needed.
This morning I went into an Affinity Credit Union to use the ATM. As I was going about my business I briefly looked at one of the monitors they have that presents news stories and current stock market information. It had an Associated Press article about the Olympics, with the location given as Rio de Janeiro, Argentina. Whoops. You'd think after all the Olympic reporting it would be pretty hard for anyone to think Rio is Argentina. Especially someone writing material for a press service.

Gas In Saskatoon, August 12, 2016.
A mixed bag to report this week. At the beginning of the week gas had dropped to 94.4 cents a litre at most locations. However prices rebounded, and now the price is 100.9 cents a litre at most locations. Will next week see a similar pingpong? Stay tuned, or tooned if you prefer.

The Ultimate Betrayal.
For many if not most of us the ultimate betrayal is from our bodies. No matter how well you treat it sooner or later something will go wrong with it, and there are just so many things that can go wrong. Even if you're very lucky aging will ultimately do you in. So if you're healthy enjoy it while you can.

The Big Money Rolls In.
Serisouly, I'm going to be rich soon. Yesterday I made a whole one cent from advertising on the blog. With revenue like that I'll soon be rolling in it.
Seriously though, if you're thinking blogging is the way to massive riches, it isn't.

Come And Gone.
It rained a lot yesterday in Saskatoon. It got heavy enough in the evening that a severe rainfall warning was issued. Yet when I looked out the window this morning after I got up the sidewalks were already pretty much dry, as were the streets. Chalk it up to this being summer. If this was fall the water wouldn't be gone anywhere near as quickly, and of course in winter it would have been snow instead of rain, and wouldn't be going anywhere quickly.
