Just found out that Ronald Reagan died today. We should hear a lot about him over the next few days, especially comments about him supposedly beating Eastern European Communism. Of course what actually beat Communism was its own flaws and problems it couldn't control, which Reagan had nothing to do with. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time to take advantage of them.

Its interesting to compare Reagan with Bush the Younger. Reagan strikes me as being more convincing as a President than Bush does. He gave you more of the impression that he knew what he was talking about, even if he actually didn't, that Dubya does.
