I'm not normally a person who gives much credit to Canada's various Sun newspapers, but this column, about the thousands of tsunami disaster related auctions on eBay, is rather interesting.

In media news veteran Canadian broadcaster Earl Cameron has died. Ironically Eugene Levy's SCTV character Earl Camembert, whose name was a nod to Cameron, is probably a far more familiar name to many Canadians these days than his inspiration. (Joe Flarehty's Floyd Robertson character, who was Camembert's long suffering partner on SCTV News, was named after another Canadian broadcaster, veteran tv news anchor Lloyd Robertson, who continues to work for the CTV network.)
