Not Many Customers.

Doing a search on eBay tonight I noticed that one product was listed as coming from Korea, South.  In a way the South part is probably redundant.  After all I doubt the typical North Korean is allowed to buy or sell on eBay, or that PayPal would accept North Korean won as payment.  The handful of people that might conceivably be allowed access to eBay no doubt use some other method of acquiring goods.

Spam On eBay.

You can buy Spam on eBay.  The food product that is.  I just had the whim to enter spam into their search engine, and surprise, you can buy actual Spam on eBay.  Why would you buy Spam on eBay?  I suppose if you live someplace where Spam isn't sold, and you really have a craving, you'd mail order some.  Of course whether it would make it through Customs if you were ordering from another country is another question.

Know What A Chav Is?

Then you may find this eBay car auction amusing.  Frankly I'm surprised someone didn't get it pulled for the tone of it.

I Spoke Too Soon.

I was wrong in my last post. Today I got a bunch more of that same annoying e-mail. Oh well, it only takes a few seconds to delete them.

Hurray!

The past few days I've been getting a bunch of bogus eBay messages in my e-mail, all purporting to be from the same eBay seller asking for payment. Of course the item in question isn't one I purchased. Usually you get a bunch of these a week claiming to be about different eBay transactions, not all about one. Most peculiar. In any case I just checked my mail, and I haven't received any in a few hours. So either it was a really clueless scammer who gave up, or someone finally cleaned a virus out of their e-mail system.
