Happy Canada Day!

Hopefully you'll have a good Canada Day.  Saskatoon residents will probably be a bit disappointed at the moment, as it's raining.

It's Canada Day.

So make sure you do something Canada related.  Go to Tim Hortons or buy some maple syrup.  Watch the Blue Jays game that's just about to start as I write this, or one of the CFL games later this evening.  Listen to some Oscar Peterson or Rush.  Even looking at some Canadian flag pictures would be acceptable.

I figured I'd better get this in.  I hope you had a good day so far.  Of course for many of us today wasn't a holiday because we had work to do. 

If you're not a Canadian you can still celebrate along with us.  You can go buy some Canadian maple syrup.  Go to a Tim Hortons if there's one in your neck of the woods.  Watch a Canadian made TV show or movie like Total Drama Island or Scanners.  Or you could listen to music by Rush or Neil Young. 

Of course if you're a Detroit Tigers fan this isn't a happy Canada Day for you, since the Blue Jays beat the Tigers 8-3 at Rogers Centre.

Canada is 142 today, so go out and celebrate. Even if you aren't a Canadian you should go out and celebrate anyways. Drink a Molsons or something.

I hope everyone across the country has enjoyed their day so far, even if all you've done is sit around the house like me.

No, I haven't been away or sick. I just simply haven't gotten around to writing about anything of late, but I hope to get things back to a bit more regular pace in July.
