"Winter Is Coming."
So says the Special Weather Statement issued this morning by Environment Canada. We're supposed to get snow in Saskatoon in the next 24 hours. So break out the winter gear, Saskatonians, if you haven't already. Hopefully I won't have to do any driving tomorrow, as the first few days after snow generally see everyone driving like idiots. Yes, despite what you might think if you're from someplace where snow is rare, winter driving experience seems to make no difference those first few days. Everyone seems to forget everything they've learned.

I Was On Potter Crescent Today...
...but I didn't see Harry.
As I predicted driving was fun today. Trying to drive down 8th Street with no traction is not recommended.

Curses!
I actually have to drive tomorrow. It won't be as bad as it would have been today, but still....

Take It Easy, Saskatoon.
That unfamiliar white stuff is called snow. It makes things slippery. Please don't drive in your usual maniac manner or you'll be slamming into everyone in sight.

A Winter Tip.
If you're going to go through a fast food drive through, make sure you can open your window before you pull into line. Someone ahead of me just a bit ago didn't, and it caused them a bit of a problem putting in their order.
