Not My Favourite Exercise.

Snow shovelling serves as exercise, but it's not my favorite exercise.  Especially when the snow is like what received over the last 24 hours, sticky and very heavy.  I would imagine someone in Saskatoon will have a heart attack today from shovelling snow given how quickly the weight on your shovel builds up.

No Buyers.

I was thinking about offering some of the snow we got last night for sale, but thinking about it there would be no buyers.  Given how much snow there's been in various parts of North America the last month who would be interested?  At the very least I would be underpriced by someone else with more snow and perhaps easier access to the big markets.  Too bad.

Where's Ours?

I was watching a report tonight on snow removal in Toronto. One of the gizmos they use is a mobile snow melting machine. The obvious question is why Saskatoon doesn't have one. At least I've never seen or heard any evidence of such a device being used locally. You'd think we'd need one more than Toronto.
